Healthy Kids Humboldt is working to ensure that all eligible children ages 0 through 18 in Humboldt County have access to health insurance coverage.
We do this by reaching out to uninsured families and helping them enroll in low and no-cost health insurance options.
Healthy Kids Humboldt enrolls children in these insurance programs:
- Medi-Cal: Comprehensive coverage at no-cost to low income children
- Healthy Families: Comprehensive coverage at a low cost to low- and middle income children
- CalKids: Limited coverage at a low cost to low- and middle-income children not eligible for Medi-Cal or Healthy Families. CalKids is available to children, regardless of where they were born.
Depending on your family income, your children can be enrolled in one of these programs. If you've tried to enroll in the past, and have been denied. Try again.
